Through the Sacrament of Baptism, we are initiated into Christ’s holy church. We are incorporated into God’s mighty acts of salvation and given new birth through water and the Spirit. All this is God’s gift, offered without a price.

Baptisms are not just for children. People of all ages are baptized at Advent. We encourage anyone who is not baptized and who desires to grow in their faith to be baptized. By completing this online form, you are inviting us into the conversation to help you navigate a path forward. In the United Methodist Church, we recognize baptisms from other church bodies. However, we do encourage all baptized people to consider reaffirming their baptismal vows. Whatever your circumstances, we look forward to talking about baptism with you.
