Share While You Shop

Starting Sunday, April 7th,

We are kicking off our annual Share While You Shop, a campaign to benefit the Open Door food shelf in Eagan. The Open Door is one of the largest non-profit food shelves in Dakota County providing food distribution across the south metro area. Through its Pantry Food Shelf, Mobile Pantry Sites, and The Mobile Lunch Box, The Open Door serves over 15,000 individuals each month and distributes over 3 million pounds of healthy food annually. During summer months, the food shelves can become more sparse as kids are home from school, and food drives dwindle. This is what makes our campaign so valuable!

We are excited to once again be collecting food and household items most in need. We are asking that you consider buying $10 (or more) worth of the designated item(s) for that month and bring it to the church. Drop your donations off in the grocery cart in the Outreach Corner, and we’ll deliver them to the Open Door Pantry. Our goal is to collect over 2000 lbs worth of these items.

For April our focus food item will be pasta and spaghetti sauce.
