Inclusion Statement of Advent UMC

At Advent UMC we celebrate human diversity and recognize the sacred worth and dignity of all persons. We affirm the full inclusion of persons regardless of race, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, physical or mental capacity, education, economic or marital status. 

We believe that prejudice, hatred, or discrimination directed toward any individual or group is contrary to the life and spirit of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we shall work to eliminate prejudice and discriminatory practices within ourselves, our church, and our community.
